Output of Coal in Slovene Coalmines

In June 1996, the output of lignite in the Velenje coalmine was 359,800 tons, the output of brown coal in the Trbovlje and Hrastnik coalmines being 50,363 tons. In the first half of 1996, the output of the Velenje coalmine was 1,949,300 tons and in the Trbovlje and Hrastnik 420,092 tons. In the same period, the output of coal in the Senovo, Kanižarica and Zagorje coalmines, which are in the process of closing down, was merely 25,000 tons.
