Free Share Accounts to Be Discontinued

Ljubljana, 25 September - The National Assembly passed a bill on Friday that will end free registry accounts maintained by the Central Securities Clearing Corporation (KDD), a vestige of the early-1990 privatisation still used by about 280,000 holders of securities. The motion was passed in a 70:4 vote.
