Van Rompuy Argues EU Needs Better Foreign Policy

Ljubljana, 8 October - Herman Van Rompuy, the former European Council president, called for a better EU foreign policy as he delivered a lecture Wednesday evening at the University of Ljubljana. He said a more active policy was needed "because we have interests to defend, not only commercially but also in terms of war and peace."
