Public sector unions turn down latest government proposal

Ljubljana, 12 October - The government and public sector trade unions resumed their pay talks on Monday after a two-week break, with the government putting forard a new proposal that was dismissed by the trade unions as not representing a major shift. The two sides thus remain far apart in the talks that are due to be wrapped up in three weeks.
