Farmers protest for fair prices, better conditions
Ljubljana, 17 October - Some 3,000 Slovenian farmers gathered in eight towns across the country to demand better conditions in agriculture, complaining about unfair prices in the food supply chain and criticising lack of responsiveness by the government and the EU. Calls to buy Slovenian food could also be heard.
