Refugee processing slower than optimal, UNHCR says

Ljubljana, 19 October - The processing of refugees by Slovenia is slower than optimal, but the police say there doing the best they can, Caroline Van Buren, the UNHCR representative for Central Europe, told the press on Monday. Meanwhile, Red Cross representatives said that aid was being provided without problems by some 500 volunteers.
