MPs confirm amendments allowing army deployment at border

Ljubljana, 21 October - The MPs adopted in the early morning hours on Wednesday in a 66:5 vote legislative amendments granting the army limited police powers in an effort to retain control of the security situation in the country amidst the inflow of refugees. The measure could take effect in a week at the earliest and will be used if necessary.
