Slovenia elected member of UN Human Rights Council

New York, 28 October - The UN General Assembly elected Slovenia on Wednesday a member of the UN Human Rights Council for the 2016-2018 period. The Foreign Ministry said this was a recognition for Slovenia, its diplomacy and for years of efforts contributing to the protection and enforcement of human rights in the world.
