Slovene Businessmen in Sarajevo

Ljubljana, 14 July - Slovene businessmen left for Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sunday, where a presentation of Slovene economy is to take place from Tuesday to Friday in Sarajevo's Skenderia Hall. Intended to strengthen bilateral economic cooperation between Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina after the war was ended, the presentation is important because organizers, including the Ljubljana Economic Fairgrounds, the Regional Chamber of Economy Ljubljana and the Bosnian Chamber of Economy, managed to carry out the event despite recent introduction of visas. Slovenia introduced visas for Bosnian citizens on 1 July 1996, followed by Bosnia-Herzegovina adopting the same measure for Slovene citizens on 10 July.
