In May Average Salaries Higher than in April

Average gross income in companies and other organizations was SIT 127,860 gross (dlrs 940) and SIT 80,585 net (dlrs 592) in May, which is more than in the past months, the National Statistical Office reported. May gross salary increased by 1.9 percent over April and by 14.2 percent over last year's annual average, while the net salary increased by 1.6 percent over April and 13.1 percent over 1995 average.
