President opens NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence
Begunje na Gorenjskem, 10 November - The NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence in the Alpine village of Poljče (NW) was officially inaugurated on Tuesday. One of the alliance's 20 excellence centres aims to become the top global training centre for mountain warfare. The facility has been operating since March and currently involves four nations.
