More Roma assistants in schools in effort to boost integration

Ljubljana, 26 November - In an effort to improve the level of education among the Roma, the number of Roma assistants at schools has nearly doubled in less than two years, a conference in Ljubljana heard on Thursday. There are now a total of 22 assistants, working at 32 schools and preschools with Roma children.
