Slovenia celebrates St. Nicholas

Ljubljana, 5 December - St. Nicholas celebrations will be held in virtually every town and village around the country Saturday evening. The celebrations held on the eve of St. Nicholas day tend to be rather scary, as the patron saint of children is accompanied by devil-like creatures scolding children who have been bad in the past year.
