Weekly review of events involving Slovenia, 4-10 December

Ljubljana, 11 December - The refugee crisis remained a top issue this week, as the number of daily arrivals picked up again and Austria started putting up a fence on the border with Slovenia. The police stepped up their strike and staged a protest, while the top court did not allow a referendum on legislative changes enabling the army to get limited police powers.
