Year in review: Healthcare sector embroiled in scandals

Ljubljana, 17 December - The healthcare sector, which has long been awaiting a thorough reform, was embroiled in several scandals this year. The dismal state of the neurology department and the congenital heart ward at Slovenia's biggest hospital raised the most dust. UKC Ljubljana has been without director with full powers for over two years.
