Sender of poison letter to Czech minister gets 15 months

Koper, 16 December - Ivan Cernic, an Italian citizen of Slovenian descent charged with sending a poisonous letter to a Czech minister in 2014, was given on Wednesday a prison sentence of one year and three months, while being acquitted of charges of terrorism. The prosecution, which had requested seven years for Cernic, has announced an appeal.
