Pension purse to get state injection of EUR 1.1bn in 2016

Ljubljana, 17 December - The ailing Slovenian pension purse will receive a EUR 1.1bn cash injection from the national budget in 2016 and even more in 2017 as part of a financial balancing act, according to plans confirmed by the state pension insurer ZPIZ on Thursday. Pensions are due to rise by 0.7% next year and 1.4% the year after.
