Government nominates former president for UN secretary general

Ljubljana, 23 December - Danilo Türk, Slovenia's former president, has been formally nominated for the post of UN secretary general for the 2017-2021 term. The government adopted the decision Wednesday, almost two years after his candidacy was first endorsed by the previous government.
