Govt tweaks referendum legislation

Ljubljana, 23 December - The government has adopted changes to the referendum act that align the legislation with the corresponding constitutional amendments of 2013. The changes also detail how parliament can ban a referendum, and cross out a one-year moratorium on any new legislation that would run contrary to a referendum decision.
