Ljubljana, 1 January - In the holiday week before the New Year, Slovenia remembered 25 years of the independence referendum, police remained on strike, locals continued to protest against the wire on the border with Croatia and Luka Koper announced a new record in cars transshipped in the port, while the country for the first time ended the year with annual deflation.
