Lacklustre start for Slovenian stocks

Ljubljana, 4 January - Slovenian stocks started the new trading year on a negative note, with the vast majority of blue chips losing ground on Monday. The SBI TOP benchmark however closed 1.3% higher at 705.18 points, as a deal involving a single share of Telekom Slovenije propelled the telco over 13% higher. Total volumes were slightly over half a million euros.
