Govt wants to silence defence spending criticism, paper says

Ljubljana, 9 February - Slovenia's decision to send military instructors to Iraq follows only at the first glance the realisation of the government that threats must be addressed at their source, the daily Dnevnik says on Tuesday. With this move, the government wants to silence the criticism from Washington and Brussels about the country's low defence spending.
