With this year's tourist season failing to meet expectations, a general search for reasons of lower tourist turnout has begun in Slovenia sparkling as many different opinions as there are participants in the debate. Currently "winning" is the word promotion, allegedly a cure for all troubles facing tourism. Daily Republika's commentator estimates that promotion is similar to aspirin, which can help with a mild headache, while problems of tourism are of a more chronic nature.
