Slovenia starts repaying savers of defunct LB bank

Ljubljana, 5 March - Slovenia has started repaying Yugoslav-era savers of the defunct LB bank with outstanding foreign currency deposits. The first round of repayments is being carried out between 3 and 14 March. It amounts to EUR 685,000 for 39 Croatian savers. In total, Slovenia expects to repay EUR 385m to 230,000 Croatian and Bosnian LB savers.
