Poll suggests half of Slovenians oppose refugee referendum

Ljubljana, 5 March - A poll carried by the daily Delo on Saturday suggests that just over a half of Slovenia do not approve a referendum on the distribution of refugees in the EU. The results were released a day after the opposition Democrats (SDS) presented a motion to ask the people whether Slovenia should cap the number of asylum request at last year's level.
