CoE body welcomes Slovenia's LB deposits repayment scheme

Strasbourg, 10 March - The human rights committee of ministers' deputies of the Council of Europe (CoE) welcomed on Thursday the launch of Slovenia's scheme to repay Yugoslav-era savers of the defunct LB bank with outstanding foreign currency deposits. The scheme is based on a judgement of the European Court of Human Rights and has been cleared by the CoE.
