Speaker defends decision to reject referendum requests as opposition announces dismissal

Ljubljana, 3 May - Parliamentary Speaker Milan Brglez received endorsement from jurists as he defended his decision Tuesday to reject referendum requests that a union is using as a bargaining chip in its taxation dispute with the government. But his move has already earned him a dismissal motion from the opposition.
