Slovenian lynx population expects injection of fresh blood
Ljubljana, 7 May - Just four decades after lynx were resettled in Slovenia, the population has dwindled to 10-15 animals and is at risk of withering away. Experts think one way to help the population survive is an injection of fresh genes - and that will be provided by animals from Slovakia and Romania.
