Deputy speaker steps down over misuse of municipal funds

Ljubljana, 9 May - Bojana Muršič, an MP for the coalition Social Democrats (SD), stepped down as deputy speaker on Monday over alleged misuse municipal funds. She also resigned as municipal councillor of Ruše but expressed wish to keep her seat in parliament, to which the SD has no objections.
