Slovenian classic to be screened in Cannes

Ljubljana, 9 May - A restored copy of a Slovenian film classic, Dolina miru (The Valley of Peace) by France Štiglic, will be screened this year at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the Cannes Classics section. The film that was first shown in Cannes in the official competition in 1957 is the first Slovenian film to be included in the section.
