First victim of independence honoured with state decoration

Maribor, 21 May - Boris Fras, an electrician who was wounded in skirmishes with the Yugoslav People's Army in May 1991 and is considered the first victim of the independence struggle, received a top state decoration Saturday as President Borut Pahor ended a ten-year suspension of the awarding of the Order of Freedom.
