Trade unions and govt to go over strike-ending deal this week

Ljubljana, 30 May - The government and both police trade unions will this week go over the deal that is to end the police strike. If both sides back it, underpaid jobs in the police are to be abolished, promotions regulated anew and a special accident insurance arranged for officers with dangerous duties.
