New family bill overhauls jurisdiction in child-related cases

Ljubljana, 31 May - A proposal for a new family law, presented on Tuesday, envisages overhauling the protection of children in family matters, transferring decision-making in temporary and long-term measures from social work centres to courts. On the other hand, it does not address the rights of same-sex couples and corporal punishment.
