SMC to support labour minister in no-confidence vote

Ljubljana, 15 June - The ruling Modern Centre Party (SMC) announced late on Tuesday it would not back the opposition-sponsored motion to oust Labour Minister Anja Kopač Mrak, but the minister's fate remains uncertain nonetheless. Prime Minister Miro Cerar accused the fellow coalition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) of abusing the motion for horsetrading.
