Banks increase pre-tax profit by 56% in four months

Ljubljana, 20 June - Banks operating in Slovenia posted a EUR 192.3m pre-tax profit in the first four months of the year, which is 56% more than in the same period last year, the central bank announced on Monday. Net profit in the January-April period was meanwhile up by 55.2% year-on-year to EUR 171.2m.
