Union Brewery Nation's Largest Beer Producer

Union Brewery emerged in 1996 as the nation's largest beer producer. While the coutry's total production of beer increased by 6.3 percent in the first six months of this year, Union expanded its output by 11.4 percent, with the production of all its beverages increasing by as many as 28.9 percent, Union's general manager Niko Lavrič told a news conference Thursday.
