Trieste-based author to renounce academic title over English

Ljubljana, 13 July - Boris Pahor, one of the most acclaimed Slovenian writers whose opinions are valued highly, has threatened to give up his membership of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts if English is introduced as a teaching language in higher education.
