Delo Poll: FRY as a Long-Term Ally?

Ljubljana, 31 August - Over 40 percent of Slovenes believe the Federative Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) may become an ally to Slovenia in the long run, according to a public opinion poll on relations between former Yugoslav states, released by daily Delo Saturday. FRY is followed by Croatia with 22 percent, while about 20 percent of respondents said none of the former Yugoslav countries could become Slovenia's ally. The poll was conducted among 708 randomly chosen phone subscribers by Delo's public opinion research agency Stik.
