OLYMPICS: Slovenian flag raised in Olympic Village

Rio de Janeiro, 5 August - A Slovenian flag was raised in the Olympic Village in Rio de Janiero late on Thursday evening CET. The short ceremony was attended by Slovenian athletes and a number of guests, including Slovenian Sport Minister Maja Makovec Brenčič, the president of the Slovenian Olympic Committee Bogdan Gabrovec and his predecessor Janez Kocijančič.
