Izola shooter used illegal gun, police report

Izola/Ljubljana, 23 August - The 70-year-old man who went on a shooting spree at the Izola general hospital yesterday, killing a police officer and a doctor before being shot to death in an attempt to escape, used an illegal handgun, the Koper Police Administration said on Tuesday. It added that the police could not have prevented the incident.
