Alpina to shed 45 workers

Žiri, 31 August - Footwear maker Alpina, best known for its ski boots, plans to shed 45 workers by the end of the year under a restructuring plan confirmed by the supervisory board on Wednesday. The headcount will mostly be reduced through attrition.
