Shoemaking in Tržič making a comeback

Tržič, 2 September - After storied footwear maker Peko went bankrupt in January, production will be revived in the town that has become synonymous with shoes. Designer Alja Viryent has rented a part of the former Peko factory in Tržič and plans to launch a small-scale operation focused on high-end shoes.
