MPs ban corporal punishment of children

Ljubljana, 25 October - The National Assembly passed on Tuesday amendments to the domestic violence prevention act aimed to better protect victims of domestic violence and improve the work of state institutions in such cases. In a bid to crack down on domestic violence, the changes ban explicitly corporal punishment and redefine what counts as domestic violence.
