Janša denies support for potential Peterle bid for European Parliament president

Ljubljana, 27 October - Democrats (SDS) head Janez Janša has told the weekly Demokracija that he does not support the candidacy of MEP Lojze Peterle for the president of the European Parliament. Janša's reproach to Slovenia's first prime minister, who is a member of the SDS's erstwhile close ally New Slovenia (NSi), is that his ego is bigger than his heart.
