Govt turns down key demand in public sector pay talks
Ljubljana, 3 November - The government turned down on Thursday a key demand of public sector trade unions in talks on lifting the austerity measures affecting public sector pay. The unions demanded that they are included in any changes to the legislation on public sector pay, but the government said this was not feasible.
