Jobless total up 2.2% in October

Ljubljana, 4 November - The number of those registered as unemployed totalled 97,263 in October, up 2.2% compared to September and down 9.5% year-on-year, show the latest data from the Employment Service. The monthly rise was expected due to the seasonal spike in first-time job seekers registering as unemployed after the expiry of their student status.
