Importance of Romani language highlighted on eve of international day
Murska Sobota, 4 November - Language is as important to the Roma as it is to other ethnicities, but it is facing a two-fold problem. Fewer and fewer Roma use it for communication among themselves, and there is virtually no need for its use otherwise, the head of the Institute for Roma Studies, Education and Culture said at an event marking International Romani Language Day.
