Annual hike honours 19th century literary journey
Litija/Čatež ob Savi, 12 November - Bad weather on Saturday deterred many who wanted to make the annual hike from Litija to Čatež in honour of a mid-19th century travel log that made the case for a Slovenian national identity. While the organisers expected some 15,000 people to attend, a mere 4,000 to 5,000 took part.
