Govt rejects demand doctors be exempted from public sector pay system

Ljubljana, 17 November - The government has rejected a demand by doctors that they be exempted from the public sector pay system, dismissing a key point of contention for the striking doctors that was seen as likely to open the floodgates and sending the public sector wage bill soaring.
