Proposal boosting labour rights but relaxing lay-off rules released

Ljubljana, 18 November - Following six months of debate by a task-force featuring social partners, the Labour Ministry released for public debate on Friday a package of proposed tweaks to labour legislation. The idea is to strengthen security in some segments, encourage job seeking, but also to make it easier to lay off workers due to incompetence.
